Program Description

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR MARCH 10TH, FROM 5:30-7:00 PM.

This is the first of a four-part series with Fort Kids: Rooted and Resilient Parenting, designed to support, encourage, and equip caregivers with practical tools for raising confident, connected kids. All sessions are free, family-friendly.

Join certified structured literacy dyslexia specialist Britney Watson as she shares simple, powerful literacy practices that help children fall in love with reading from the earliest ages. Learn how everyday routines—from bedtime stories to grocery-store chats—can build language skills and spark imagination. We will also share how something as small as a library card can unlock a world of literacy support for your child.
