Library Update

To support efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, all four locations of the Fort Smith Public Library will be closed through at least Monday, April 20.  For information on how to contact library staff, curbside pickup of library materials, the new digital access-only library card, and more check our Facebook page or the library website.

About Your Library

The Main Library is centrally located at 3201 Rogers Avenue, at the intersection of Rogers Avenue, Free Ferry Road, and Old Greenwood Road.  Construction on the 67,000-square-foot, two-story building began in 1999, and the building opened on February 23, 2001.  

The Main Library offers a full selection of books and videos for all ages, free Wi-Fi and a range of technology resources, a full schedule of programs and events, a top-notch genealogy and Arkansas history collection, and a café offering a full menu of premium coffee drinks, sandwiches, salads, and more.
