Miller Branch Library Artist of the Month – Betty Morkemo

The watercolor paintings of Betty Morkemo will be on display at the Miller Branch Library during the month of May.  Betty's grandfather taught her to draw simple flowers and shapes as a young child. Growing up in Iowa, she found a love of the countryside and old barns.  Since retiring in 2011, Betty has more time to devote to her hobbies of drawing, painting, quilting, and gardening.  Artwork is available for viewing all hours that the library is open.
