Come learn how to draw some silly drawings! FSPL staff member Katelyn Smith will lead this fun and interactive event, designed for school aged children. Free and no registration or library card required.

Get ready to spring into crafting! Families are invited to take part in this Spring Break Craft-a-thon. Make some bad art, create a beautiful collage, design a button or two, and help us with some “crafty” spring cleaning!

Children and their caregivers are invited to the Main Library for storytime every Thursday at 10:00 AM.  Lasting about 35 minutes, storytimes feature stories, songs, puppetry, finger plays, manipulatives, and crafts.

School age children and teens are invited to join the Once Upon a Stitch crochet club! Whether a beginner or an expert, join us to learn the basics of crochet and expand your skills.

Using polymer clay adults will learn to sculp a miniature book charm and transform it into a unique accessory of their choice, such as jewelry, a keychain, bookmark, or a magnet. All Materials will be provided.

Join us for this teen volunteer event! Earn some volunteer time by making bookmarks from damaged books that we will hand out during National Library Week (April 19-25). Free and no library card or registration required.

The Fort Smith Public Library is hosting their annual pet food and supply drive during the month of April, benefitting Fort Smith Animal Haven. Storytime participants are welcome to bring in donations during this special DOG-themed storytime.

Celebrate National Poetry Month by dropping in and creating your own black-out poetry using pages from discarded books, newspapers, or magazines.

Join us at the Miller Branch Library for A Bug's Life (Rated G) and some cute bug crafts. FREE and all supplies provided!
