Young children and their adults can experience an interactive, literacy-based storytime at all four FSPL locations. Storytimes feature stories, songs, puppetry, finger plays, manipulatives, flannel stories, and crafts. Not only is storytime fun, it's an excellent way for adults and caregivers to interact with their children while helping them build early literacy skills and laying the foundation for preparing children to learn to read.
Toddler Time is for babies, toddlers ages 3 and under, and their adults. This literacy-based storytime includes stories, songs, puppetry, finger plays, flannel stories, and manipulatives. Special care is taken to select shorter, developmentally-appropriate stories and provide lots of opportunity for movement. Join us for 30 minutes of music, books, and early literacy activities perfect for toddlers and their families.
