The Main Library is now open for brief visits. Appointments are required, and not all library resources are available. Click here to request an appointment. Children can use the Internet, play educational computer games, log onto ABCMouse, or use the touchscreen Early Literacy computers at all four FSPL locations. At the Main Library dedicated children’s computers are available in the Youth Services Department on the first floor.
Internet and games computer sessions are 30 minutes long. Additional time is available if no one is waiting. Computers for children are free and no library card is required.
At the Main Library, two adult Internet computers are available for parents or caregivers who need to access the Internet but want to stay close to their children in the Youth Services Department. Adult Internet sessions are 1 hour. Additional time is available if no one is waiting. Adults must have a library card in good standing to access the Internet for free. For individuals without a library card in good standing, Internet access may be purchased for $3.
An Express Internet computer is also available in the Youth Services Department at the Main Library for adults in the department with children. Express Internet sessions are 15 minutes long and are free with no library card required.
All Internet users must agree to the Fort Smith Public Library’s Computer and Internet Usage Policy.
Wi-Fi is also available at all library locations. No library card or password is required. All Wi-Fi users must agree to the library’s Wi-Fi policy.
