Program Description

This Danish film is based on a short story by Isak Dinesen about two unmarried sisters and their French housekeeper who live in a remote village on the western side of Jutland in 19th century Denmark.  The movie stars Stephane Audran, Birgitte Federspiel, and Bodil Kjer and directed by Gabriel Axel. This drama, with English subtitles, runs 102 minutes and is not rated.
