Program Description

The photographic works of Dianna Elkins will be featured at Dewey's Café at the Fort Smith Public Library through the month of April. Ms. Dianna is the retired Founder/Director of First Place Academy and began photography in her early school days when she worked for a newspaper and developed pictures in the dark room.  In retirement, she and her husband love to camp and travel to various places in the U.S. and Canadian Rockies.  Her favorite place is still at home in the River Valley.  She loves to photograph her grandchildren, landscapes, seasonal changes, waterfalls, churches, old barns, and unexpected places that have long been forgotten.  Ms. Dianna's photography has been showcased in Arkansas Businesses, featured on tourist advertisements, and featured on commercial websites.  Artwork is available for viewing all hours that the library is open through April 30.
