Program Description

Local authors Katie Marie and Effie Jo Stock will appear at the Fort Smith Public library to promote and sign copies of their books Saving Zora (Katie Marie) and Child of the Dragon Prophecy (Effie Jo Stock).

Spy. Fighter. Zorian. Can one girl and her comrades bring about the salvation of two kingdoms? Follow Tanner, Marcel, and their comrades as they journey across lands, charge into battles, uncover shocking news, and find new love in their quest to save England and Zora from the hands of evil in this epic, YA fantasy novel. Katie Marie is a young author who has always enjoyed reading and making up stories.  When she was ten, she decided she wanted to be a published author. Katie never stopped pursuing her dream, and now, years later, her debut novel, ‘Saving Zora’, is out for the world to see.

A future foreseen. A past forgotten. The savior child of the Dragon Prophecy is born. Adopted by Centaurs, then forsaken by humans, Stephania longs for a place to belong.  Seeking an escape, she unwittingly begins a journey of self-discovery, while numerous threats are revealed that may break her or finally lead her to her true home. Effie Joe Stock is the author of ‘The Shadows of Light’ and the creator of the world, Rasa. You can usually find her working outside on her small homestead farm, playing music, studying psychology, theology, or philosophy, running her small businesses, or riding her dirt bike. She looks forward to continuing her publishing dream with the six books and multiple companion novels she has written for her epic fantasy series, along with a few other works in progress.

Copies of the books will be available for sale and signing at this open-house style event.
