Welcome to the Young Adult Advisory Board Page!

Young Adult Advisory graphic

The YAAB program is a volunteer committee of local High School Students in our city working together in and for our local library. We supervise computers to make sure that kinds are staying out of inappropriate materials. We also help younger children with homework and research. We gather together once a month to discuss new activities we can put together for the local children.

Meetings and Upcoming Plans

The 1999-2000 Young Adult Advisory Board season is over but we are still looking for volunteers. The current members of YAAB will be volunteering throughout the summer with the summer reading program. Interested in volunteering? See below!

Recent Activities

The Saturday before Christmas we had a Christmas gathering at the library. We had crafts, games, music, a puppet show, and refreshments. We had a great turnout, and we had a lot of fun. We had a Valentine's Day party in February which was also a lot of fun.
