2005 Alex Awards - This list consists of books written for adults that appeal as well to teens.

2005 Best Books for Young Adults - A diverse list that features science fiction and fantasy, nonfiction, novels in verse, cutting-edge contemporary fiction and graphic novels.

Great Graphic Novels for Teens - Newest ALA award list to be awarded first in 2007; nominations ARE being taken currently, however.

2005 Margaret A. Edwards Award - This award honors an author's lifetime achievement for writing books that have been popular over a period of time.

2005 Michael L. Printz Award - an award for a book that exemplifies literary excellence in young adult literature.

2004 Outstanding Books for the College Bound booklists - in the categories of humanities , literature and language arts, science and technology, and social sciences -- are revised and updated every five years.

2005 Popular Paperbacks for Young Adults -- four lists of popular books for teens. Categories change each year. For 2005, see Read 'em and Weep, Own Your Own Freak, Gateway to Faerie, and All Kinds of Creepy.

2005 Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers -- includes books that teens will pick up on their own and read for pleasure. This list is geared to the teenager who does not like to read; therefore, teen input is a vital aspect of the selection process.

2005 Selected Audiobooks -- Titles appearing on this list have been selected from the past two years of spoken word releases for their appeal to a teen audience, the quality of their recording, and because they enhance the audience's appreciation of any written work on which they may be based.
